The Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (APAARI) is delighted to announce a new partnership with CAB International (CABI). This collaboration, formalized on May 1, 2024, under the “Associate Agreement for the CABI BioProtection Portal,” aims to enhance the awareness and adoption of bioprotection products globally.

About the Partnership:

• Purpose: To bridge the knowledge gap and promote the use of bioprotection products among growers and advisors, aligning with APAARI’s strategic objectives.
• Duration: Effective from May 6, 2024, for a period of five years.
• Activities: Joint development and exchange of communications materials, promotion of the CABI BioProtection Portal, and providing technical assistance.

About the CABI BioProtection Portal:

The CABI BioProtection Portal is an open-access decision-support tool designed to help farmers and advisors find biocontrol and biopesticide solutions. This tool supports sustainable agricultural practices and integrated pest management approaches.
